Patridge launched her acting career when she scored the lead role of Kelsea in Into the Blue 2: The Reef, the sequel to the 2005 hit Jessica Alba movie Into the Blue. The movie will be released straight to DVD on April 21, 2009.Patridge has made apearance on the comedy series Mad TV 3 times as herself during the shows 17th and 18th seasons. It was announced in May 2008 that Patridge had been cast in the 2009 thriller The Silent Killer opposite Jack Wagner. Subsequently, in February 2009 it was announced that she had dropped out of the role. Patridge later stated that she felt the funding for the film wasn't coming together and she didn't want to wait for the role. In September 2008, Patridge made a cameo appearance in the season première of the short-lived 2008 sitcom Do Not Disturb as herself. She was set to star in the season finale of My Name Is Earl as Alice Moore, a character originally planned to be Earl's long lost daughter but the episode planned was scrapped therefore she didn't appear in the series.

In August 2008, she landed another lead film role as Megan alongside Rumer Willis in the remake of the 1983 horror film, The House on Sorority Row which has been subtly renamed Sorority Row. Production began in October 2008 and ended the following month. Sorority Row will be released on 2 October, 2009 in the U.S.

In December 2008, Audrina gave audition auditioned for a role in the film New Moon, a sequel to Twilight, she was in negotiations through-out January and February 2009 but was never officially cast and revealed in the month of March that she was not going to appear in the film for unknown reasons. Audrina was in talks to appear in the 2010 independent film The Dinner Date as Laura but didn't sign to the project for unknown reasons.She is rumoured to play Joan Friskell in the remake of Queen Kong in 2010, as well as the role of Zelda Fitzgerald in the upcoming biopic of F.
