Assem Sukkar (June 7, 1967), a Syrian artist and singer, was born in Damascus. He holds a degree in accounting, is a member of the Syrian Artists Syndicate, participated in many festivals, and worked in many production companies and artistic institutions, including "Space Tone". During his university studies, he created a band that performs concerts at the end of the school season. He also founded, with the artist Adnan Abu Al-Shamat, the Arabic Al-Angham group, which is concerned with singing Andalusian Muwashahat and roles.
