Description:
Initially went to Oklahoma University on scholarship to study Petroleum Geology to capitalize on her interest in earth history and science.
Her first fishing trip with her dad took place when she was six months old, and she grew to love fishing throughout her life with her parents.
Ashley got the nickname "Tadpole" because she loved any sort of activity involving water when she was younger and taught herself how to swim in the bathtub when she was three.
Ashley's first job at age 17 was as a hostess at IHOP.
