Putin goes to see the Black Square
Artwork by Melle Nieling. A series of four works depicting Putin on a day off. He wakes up, puts his make up on and takes a taxi to look at Malevich's Black Square. The final piece "Putin is impressed" reduces Putin to a tiny man, his shadow uniting with the Black Square.
The series was made for an exhibition in London, titled "Is it war already?", and was sold during the opening for an undisclosed amount.
