Annie Vernay is an actress Swiss born in Geneva on 21 November 1921. At fifteen, she was elected "Miss Seduction 37" and obtained, shortly after, a small role in The Lie of Nina Petrovna of Victor Tourjansky . Until 1940, she starred in six films, including: Tarakanowa of Fedor Ozep (French and Italian) (1938), and The Romance of Werther of Max Ophüls (1938), where she finds her most prominent role.
