Born in Monterrey, México, he founded Ilusión Film Entertainment in the year 2000. The company produced his first film called Inspiración, which marked the beginning of the New Film Trade in the north part of the country. For this, Angel is known as the father of El Cine Regio. Later he went on to start Magic Arts Studios, A Visual Effects house. He created it to be able to film his next project, Seres: Genesis.
