Ana Matronic, a stage name of Ana Lynch (born August 14, 1974), is an American musician and the female lead singer for the Scissor Sisters.
Her stage name is said to be due to "a deep and abiding love of robots". She has a large tattoo on her right shoulder of bionic circuitry. She has a second tattoo on her ankle of a Celtic knot to mark her Irish heritage.
Prior to moving to New York City, Lynch lived in San Francisco, California, where she performed at the drag club Trannyshack and reached the finals of the Miss Trannyshack pageant. It was her experience at Trannyshack that inspired her to start the club Knock
