Amalie started out as a model for the Norwegian watch brand, Norwegian Time, and the Norwegian hair extension brand, Luxushair. From there, she has done content campaigns for brands such as Sauvage Swimwear, a brand that usually has models such as Frida Aasen, Emily Ratajkowski and Candice Swanpoel as their active models. She signed to the Milano based model agency, Major Models in December 2019. She was, alongside soccer player, John Carew, the face of the fall advertisement campaign for the betting company, ComeOn.

In May 2020 she had her first major editorial for men's magazine, FHM with pictures taken in her home town.
