Description: Amelie started being interested in tennis when she was 4 and was watching a match between Yannick Noah and Mats Wilander. Shortly after that, Amelie received a racket from her parents and that was the start of a brilliant career. Throughout her youth, she was always playing against older, more experienced players but always showed great talent. In 1988, she was contacted by the French Federation and offered to train with the elite of her age, offer that she accepted of course.
