Amber Scott is a former child actress. Her claim to fame was playing the role of Maggie in the Steven Spielberg move Hook, a 1991 family fantasy film that also starred Robin Williams, Dustin Hoffman, Julia Roberts, Bob Hoskins, Charlie Korsmo, Caroline Goodall, and Maggie Smith. The song Scott sings in Hook, called "When You're Alone," was actually nominated for an Academy Award. If memory serves, Scott sang the song at the Oscar ceremony.
