Amanda Rene Cody Babin (born June 28, 1987) in Metairie, Louisiana, but relocated to Anaheim, California with her twin sister, Michelle. Before she joined America's Next Top Model, Cycle 7 with Michelle, she was working as a sales associate at a local bookstore.
Amanda initially tried out for America's Next Top Model, Cycle 6, but was only accepted into the competition for the show's seventh season. As a Finalist, Amanda was often criticized by the judges for looking awkward on the runway and in her photographs, but Amanda did her best to overcome her weaknesses, and she was able to make it a bit further than her twin sister,
