Alyssa Pridham was born in Barrie, Ontario, Canada and raised in the close by country side of Utopia, Ontario, Canada in 1970.
She started a professional career as a model in her early teens, and moved to New York on contract at 17 to work full time on it. She has worked as a model for clients including Giorgio Armani, Christian Dior, Ferragamo, Elizabeth Arden, Elle, Glamour, Cosmo, Self, InStyle, and YM magazines, Revlon, Banana Republic, Cover Girl, and Good Morning America.

In 2004, she was cast by Woody Allen to play the role of Alva in his film Melinda and Melinda, and in 2007 she was cast by Wesley Snipes and international film director Andrew Goth in the Africa filmed movie “Gallowwalkers” where she played Sueno, the love interest to Wesley Snipes.
She has had a variety of other roles in film and TV including her role Caitlyn in the film "Loaded", starring Jesse Metcalfe, and Ruby in The Showtime hit series “The L Word".
In 2002, Alyssa was hired to dance at MTV’s music awards show throughout and during performances of stars including Micheal Jackson, Shakira, Alicia Keys, Brittany Spears, Madonna and so on. Other iconic venues Alyssa has worked as a professional freestyle dancer have been at The Waldorf Astoria, Windows on the World, located once at the very top of one of the World Trade Towers, The W Hotel and the Plaza Hotel all located in New York City.
Alyssa has performed as a singer and dancer in over 200 live shows. She has written and recorded dozens of songs and worked with several producers between New York City and Hollywood. In 2005 Alyssa wrote and recorded several songs with Los Angelos based producer, Bishop and Logic Ali in a studio project that started out at Chalice studios which was backed by entrepreneur Brad Beckerman. During that time she also wrote and recorded a number of songs with producer Jason Edmonds in Los Angeles. In 2006 she had began to work together with an A&R Rep from Sony records and later that year began to pursue her own vision of how she wanted her music to sound.
In 2007, Alyssa moved to her family farm in Utopia Canada, where Alyssa’s father stepped in to support her music career by building her a music studio and funding her first project “In the Garden”. In 2010 Alyssa wrote a full length album “In the Garden” and in 2012 recorded it in full in the studio her father had built her.
Alyssa’s music is from the heart with lyrics that are honest, raw and powerful, conveying her story and experience. She immerses herself in her art and expresses herself with a level of honesty and intensity that sets her apart. Alyssa’s singing has been featured in film and television including the feature film Gallowwalkers, and the showtime hit series “the L Word’.
Alyssa is passionate about yoga and has been practicing since 2000. Her Yoga practice was formed mainly at Yoga works in Los Angeles under the guidance of many master teachers from the Ashtanga and Iyengar Lineage. She is a certified yoga instructor as well as a holistic and metaphysical practitioner. “Not only has yoga has served as an amazing tool to keep my body fit and balanced, it has also helped me to find the clarity and calm centeredness I have needed to confidently follow my heart and overcome lifes challenges.” Alyssa loves to surf, paint, make jewelry, ride horses and spend time exploring nature. She is passionate about co-creating and working together with conscious and eco companies who create in support of the holistic wellness of the environment and the highest wellness of all.
