Description: Born Alexandra Rose Curry in Manhattan Beach, California to Timothy, an entrepreneur, and Margaret "Peggy" (née Rosenbloom), a Special Education Teacher and, later, a very successful entrepreneur herself. The oldest of four sisters, Alex grew up knowing she wanted to be in television. However, she was also quite athletic. During her time at Mira Costa High School, she was a standout athlete (particularly in soccer), and studied musical theater and acting. She attended San Diego State University, majoring in Journalism and Media Studies. The oldest of four sisters, Alex grew up knowing she wanted to be in television. However, she was also quite athletic. During her time at Mira Costa High School, she was a standout athlete (particularly in soccer), and studied musical theater and acting.

She attended San Diego State University, majoring in Journalism and Media Studies. These two majors—and an internship with Manhattan Beach -based production company Joe Lewis Productions—only fueled the fire in her to pursue her dream of being a host on television. Of course, she also kept busy by helping lead her school's soccer team to the national championship during her freshman year in 2006.

By her sophomore year, Alex already had a small hosting gig on Direct TV's championship gaming series. It was her drive, good looks, and bubbly personality that would eventually lead to a slew of hosting and sideline gigs. Being managed by Brillstein Entertainment's Peter Gallagher, who has repped Zach Galifianakis and Kaley Cuoco among others, was of note, as he normally only works with actors. Her list of hosting duties is ever growing, and includes such notable gigs as being a co-host on FX Networks "DVD's on TV," a sideline reporter for NBC Sports Network's "Pro Beach Volleyball Series" and host of "E! News Now." Currently, she hosts "Angels Weekly" and "Kings Live" (when in season) on Fox Sports West, and "Tailgate 48" on the Big Ten Network.

Alex loves spending time outdoors hiking, biking, and playing on the beach. She is also very health conscious and sticks to a strict, gluten-free diet, as well as a regular yoga routine—habits shared by her entire family. Alex enjoys spending her free moments working with her family at Growing Great, a non-profit organization (founded by her mother, Peggy) that teaches young children gardening and nutrition.
