An actor by profession for many years, Alex began teaching yoga in 2008 after ten years of practice. Her trainings at Octopus Garden Yoga Centre in Toronto and more recently at the Insight Yoga Institute in San Francisco have set her on her way and are enabling her to slowly weave the traditions of yoga, buddhism and spiritual psychology into her practice and teaching. She is a co-founder and Director of the Yoga Project, a community yoga centre in Toronto’s West End, and is grateful to her many and varied teachers over the years for their inspiration and guidance as well as her students for their continued support and friends
