Ahang Bashi was born in Shiraz (Iran), 1984, and moved to Sweden when she was three years old. Now she lives and works in Stocholm, Sweden. She studied social anthropology at Dalarna University prior to studying film. In 2011, she graduated from Dramatiska Insitutet's documentary filmmaking course where she directed the award-winning documentary "Paradiset" and "Randy Evaluates Sweden", among others.
In 2016, her autobiographical documentary film, Fragility (Swedish: Skörheten), premiered at Gothenburg Film Festival and was later released to Swedish cinemas September 16. The film received excellent revie
