Review of Cabin Fever

An average movie

Honestly, I thought that 'Hostel' was really disappointing and it is easily one of the most overrated horror movies from the last decade. So, I wasn't expecting much from this flick which was Eli Roth directing début. Eventually, I thought it was not bad at all. First of all, I really liked the fact that there is no actual bad guy, or killer but an invisible threat. I also enjoyed the combination of humor and fear which was rather well done. Of course, the acting is not great and the plot remains rather predictable but I thought the whole thing was pretty effective. To conclude, it is a well made and entertaining horror flick and it is definitely worth a look, especially if you like the genre.
