A very good movie

I already saw this movie but since it was such a long ago, I was really eager to check it out again. Well, even after all these years, it is still a really awesome flick. Sure, it might not be Tim Burton's best directing effort but it is definitely his most fun movie to watch. Above all, his biggest masterstroke was Beetlejuice himself. Indeed, he is such a great character, not really bad, not really good, just plain weird and, after all these years, he is still one of best characters I have ever seen in a movie. It was seriously hands down the best peformance by Michael Keaton and I’m not surprised that it is Keaton’s favorite movie he made. Back then, Tim Burton didn't need a famous book or some other sources to come up with a new movie, he would just use his own imagination and the end-result was so much more interesting than what he delivers nowadays. It’s such a pity that the guy went from being one of the most original and interesting directors working in Hollywood to a rather boring one trick pony. Anyway, to conclude, I really loved this movie and it is definitely worth a look, especially if you are interested in Tim Burton’s work.
