User interface and usability

What do you think are the biggest problems with the user interface and usability of this site?

When looking at an individual video within people's personal videos, it would be nice to have some sort of link saying 'Go back to my videos' or some such.

There's no way to get from a author (who wrote a book) to a movie that his book is based on.

I've added the option to display more images at a time it's at the bottom next to the page numbers. You have to be logged in.

I'd like to see more options for tags.
There should be ways to remove and rename our tags, and it would be nice to have options to view tags list alphabetically.

Personal Lists Page: filter lists by type (tv, music, movies) to make going through them easier. Options to sort lists as well not just by recently added.

Lists: Pagination for lists is needed for long lists or lists with a lot of information. It would be nice if we could set the number of items we would like to see per page.

Friends and Following: There needs to be a page where all my friends are listed and what my follow options are - that way I don't need to visit each friend's profile page and click on follow. Some kind of table matrix would be great.

I agree - a way to change or delete a tag that I've added to 100 items would be great - or to add a tag to 100 items. You might need to remove the points for tagging so that it doesn't get abused.

- WYSIWYG editor. you could save yourself the whole HTML/tag hassle. if that is not an option, please at least make the link to the "HTML/Tag guide" in a pop-up or something, as at the moment it replaces your current page (and you have to use the back-button to get back to your text).

- some means to quote peoples posts directly (limited to maybe 2 or three levels)

- renaming of "Groups" into "Forum". unnecessary confusion.

- removal of redundancies (like "My profile" at the top and in the drop-down menu)

A Report Spam button with every Group/Forum/Threads post.

Option to edit or at least delete your own comments in others lists

What happeened to the book/music/people merging that was going to happen last year?

Another idea for tags: there are those little boxes we can check and add a buch of movies to a list.. It would be nice to have the same option to tag a bunch of movies at the same time.

- No way to indicate format or catalog number of a music album.

- No way to view runtime(s) under "movie" listings, and while it can be entered on individual DVD's, it doesn't appear anywhere but the edit screen. Same with the theatrical release field for DVD's. If implemented, multiple fields for the runtime would probably be good, since this can vary from country to country and between the theatrical and home versions.

- Poor integration between a DVD and its applicable movie listing. It'd be nice to rate something and apply it to the movie and DVD. Maybe even some way to link a movie listing with its related DVD/Blu-Ray listings and vice-versa? This might also be a good way to list a particular runtime under a movie, and have that runtime link to the DVD(s) that have that version of the film, too.

- Alternate views of custom lists, like being able to make a list consisting of a grid of images and the title of each entry under the image.

- People merging. Downside would be trying to track down duplicate pictures.

I also miss the opportunity to see everyone who has voted for your list/review. It suddenly got changed to the last 14 voters, but is there any way you could click somewhere on the grey box around the little avatars of other members to make it drop down and show the rest of the voters?

I was thinking it would be cool to "follow" a list (or maybe all the lists we voted) and be notified when that list is updated.
