How do I request to borrow?

There is a requests tab under Friends. But where do I actually go to request to borrow a specific DVD from a friend?

The request tab is for friend requests.

The is no specific request to borrow function to be honest I think this kind of thing would just be better done in person or via email.

Having a button to request an item from a friend while browsing their collection might actually be convenient. Listal could just send out an email to them saying you're interested in contacting them about the item. That would be easier than copy-pasting the item's information and writing the email yourself.
