I picked Gundam Wing because of the fact that Transformers is a poorly explained 'alien race' that somehow has the technology to be a machine and can imitate things,
The weapons arsenal of transformers is suckish at best, it's got the CG graphics, which could've made some GREAT weaponry designs, but they failed at that, keeping it simple for the younger audience, Gundam wing explains how the mobile suits function, has more plot, more characters, better characters, a better plot, less annoying suspense then Transformers, although, the gundams may have been overpowered vs. underpowered, but it wasn't too bad
Considering it's almost as old as me, just shy by two years. This is truly a good piece of work. not the best, but good none theless
as for including the ENTIRE GUndam series, well that just obliterates any chance Transformers had.

Aside from that, transformers was infected by the gooey pop minds that keeps feeding and leading the nation's youth around like hopeless little sheep, which definitely puts a damper upon how I might've felt of it if not it had been made now.

Aside from that, I will give transformers the relatively good effects and design, those were pretty good!

Okay, I'm back, and I'm ready to answer seriously. I choose transformers. A moon sized "robot" will beat any number of gundam any day of the week. Also, I hate to admit it but Starscream alone has more character than the whole cast of Gundamwing.

Wait. Which Transformers series are we comparing to wing? Well they are all pretty good. Except Beast Machines.

umm, i've only seen one of these and it was transformers but its been a while i think, so shrugs, i haven't really liked the previews very much they just look like vehichles, that turn into robots which is all they do pretty much. shurgs*

Hmm, Hard. Well, The original Transformers series is better then pretty much all Gundam series bar wing, and wing is much better then the original Transformers series.

I can't believe all this crap that the new transformer series has pulled on me (seeing as I'm a purist) so I'd have to go with Gundam Wing. ANd for all of you people who say I'm a hypocrite for liking gundam wing while saying I'm a purist. Well THEY ARE ALL DIFFERENT SERIES DIFFERENT STORYLINE AND DIFFERENT PEOPLE. sure usually theres a war in any Gundam Series and they use Gundam's there is always suttle differences.

Transformers was a very interesting series, movie, whichever. But Gundam has a better storyline, and more indepth characters. All in all, it was just better in my opinion.
