Wendy Kay Wells is both a Texas and Arizona native. It was her senior year of high school in 1980 when she had her first real acting opportunity, to work on the TV series Little House on the Prairie (1974). She recalls, "Michael Landon was one of the greatest directors and actor I have had the pleasure to work with!"
In 1981 she left Tucson and enlisted for a hitch in US Navy. When her six-year enlistment was up, she moved to Hollywood to work in TV and film.
