So this was directed by Rob Minkoff who did The Lion King followed by a series of not so good movies sadly. Anyways this looked promising so I decided to check it out. Mr. Peabody is a pretty awesome character. I found it funny that whenever Mr. Peabody made a pun Sherman would laugh and say he didn't get it. Which I am pretty sure the target audience probably wouldn't get a lot of them either, but the parents, young adults, and teenagers would. It's interesting that absolutely none of the characters have a problem with a talking dog only they make fun of his adoptive son. I enjoyed seeing some of the more interesting moments of history involved. It kind of reminded me of Wishbone and how he would get involved in historical events. I actually enjoyed it more and more as the movie moved forward. I recommend going to see this.
