Wrestlemania 20 suffers from a decidedly patchy undercard compared to the last three years. The highlight being the awesome cruiserweight open and the mayor dud being the Lesnar/Goldberg debacle. Personally I'm no Goldberg fan as anything that goes past a minute seemingly exposes his total lack of talent, but that wasn't the only fault here, the crowd shit all over the match from the start and it threw both wrestlers totally out of sync culminating in the most disappointing clusterfucks of all Wrestlemania clusterfucks. Still not as bad as Giant González vs. Undertaker though. The lack of undercard quality probably has a lot to do with the fact that two of the company's most talented mid carders had been deservedly promoted to the main title bouts. And what we get is two incredibly good matches, filled with retrospective sorrow, for the fact that both Eddie and Benoit are no longer with us,  both so utterly dedicated to their art and so often overlooked would reach the pinnacle of their careers on this night, and that they would face such tragedy and horror before the decade ended gives a sense of bittersweet darkness to an otherwise superb main event.

My Overall Rating For For Wrestlemania XX:

Best Matches: Triple H (c) vs. Shawn Michaels vs Chris Benoit (Triple Threat for The World Heavyweight Championship)

Eddie Guerrero (c) vs. Kurt Angle - Singles match for the WWE Championship
