Review of Jason Bourne

So the Bourne saga continues with the return of Matt Damon as Jason Bourne. Even Paul Greengrass has returned to write and direct. This is the writing debut for Christopher Rouse. Too bad Jeremy Renner isn't also in this. I really like that Alicia Vikander, Tommy Lee Jones, and Riz Ahmed have joined in this sequel. Ah it starts off with a little bit of a flashback which definitely works considering how long it has been since even the third film. The ending was good and fitting. While it's great seeing Jason Bourne again the action is much different. There is nothing wrong with it of course, but he isn't as fluid as he used to be. Maybe it's part of aging. Tommy Lee Jones and Vincent Cassel were amazing as usual. I simply adore Alicia Vikander and thought she was fantastic. There were some great moments I didn't expect to happen the way they did. It's not really a twist filled movie or at least I thought things were pretty clear. The second car chase was insane and probably one of the cooler action scenes of the whole thing. Besides the whole conspiracy scenario it didn't feel a whole lot like the first three. I do think it was a pretty good entry in the series though. It's definitely worth a watch.
