An average movie

Obviously, I didn't expect much from this flick since I had some time left this Saturday afternoon, I thought I might as well check it out. Well, it turned out to be another rather lame Sandler production, that's for sure. I mean, right from the start, the whole thing was just so misguided. Basically, it is about a teacher who barely teach at all during the whole movie, who barely gave any attention to his students before the story took place but only because he becomes a MMA fighter, for a good cause, I'll give you that, he becomes in the process an inspiration for his students. I mean, sure, you might argue that since it was a comedy, I shouldn't take it too seriously but you have to admit that the whole thing was rather messed up. On top of that, I'm not sure if it was actually some good publicity for UFC as you might make the conclusion that, even if you lose and get beat up pretty bad, you will still get 10000 dollars and some people might get the idea that it is actually a rather easy way to win some cash. Eventually, I felt mostly sorry for Salma Hayek who is still one of the most beautiful women on the planet but she was completely wasted here with a boring and poorly developed character. To conclude,  I have seen worse but it was still pretty weak and I don't think it is really worth a look.
