It seemed to be a rather obscure feature and I really had no idea what to expect from this movie but since I always had a weak spot for Val Kilmer, I thought I might as well check it out. Indeed, nowadays, Kilmer seems mostly involved in some average flicks but I think it’s too bad because I always thought that the guy was rather talented and, back in the 90's, he was actually a respected actor. This movie was a fine example. In fact, this movie would be pretty much a turning point for this actor as, from then on, his movies will become more and more obscure but also most of the time really lame. Anyway, coming back to our main feature, even though the story was not very original and in fact even lacked some development, it still turned out to be a decent watch. Sure, it was nothing really groundbreaking but I thought it was a solid drama and Kilmer gave a very good perfomance. In fact, the whole cast did a fine job here. Anyway to conclude, In spite of its flaws, I really liked this movie and I think it is definitely worth a look, especially if you like the genre.
