A good movie

I already saw this movie but since it was a while back and since it was available on Disney+, I thought I might as well check it out again. Back then, making up for 2014 when they didn’t release any movie, in 2015, we had the pleasure to see 2 Pixar productions. Eventually, 'Inside Out' turned out to be pretty amazing but, to be honest, I had my doubts concerning this 2nd feature. Indeed, I wondered if it would manage to impress me as well and, indeed, it turned out to be rather underwhelming. I mean, don’t misunderstand me, it was still fairly entertaining but it never reached the level of their numerous masterpieces. At least, I have to admit that the animation was once again mind-blowing and it was completely gorgeous to look at. Furthermore, Spot, the young boy, was also truly amazing and I really enjoyed the friendship between this boy and this dinosaur. Still, eventually,  I had a rather hard time to get what the whole thing was actually supposed to be about and I'm  not surprised that the production was difficult and that they delayed its release a few times. I mean, the whole concept seemed interesting as it was supposed to be about what the world would look like if the dinosaurs would have survived. Unfortunately, there was nothing really interesting about this alternative world. I’m afraid. Indeed, apparently, at the end of the day, the dinosaurs would have been slightly more evolved than us, growing up some crops and managing their own cattle but, to be honest, it was all rather underwhelming. Anyway, to conclude, even it turned out to be one of Pixar’s weaker efforts, it was still a decent watch though and it is definitely worth a look, especially if you like the genre.
