How To Rob a Bank, from Big G Creative, is a game for 2-4 players, ages 12+. How To Rob a Bank includes one blueprint game board, 3 Robber movers, 3 Bank Guard movers, 1 Getaway car, 60 cards, 10 Room tiles, 8 tokens, and instructions. The instructions are extensive, but very clear and helpful. I don�t want to spend too much time with every detail of the game, but here are the basics: Players choose whether they want to play as one of the bank robbers, or as the bank guards. Yes, robbing banks is a lot of fun, but remember, crime doesn�t always pay. Games begin by randomly laying out the Room Tiles, and placing Robbers and Guards in place. You�ll also place your money and alarm tokens. Park the getaway car as far away from the robbers as possible. Players then take turns planning their moves, by picking their cards ahead of time. Robbers can move through the bank, grab money, pull alarms, and pepper spray guards. Guards can move, lock down money bags and alarms, and tackle robbers. The goal for Robbers is to collaborate, collect money bags, and throw them in their getaway car. For guards, it�s stopping these robbers. The game is played in three rounds, and the entire game takes about 30 minutes to play. There are different variations for the amount of players involved in the robbery. I enjoyed playing How To Rob a Bank. There is some fun strategy that becomes clearer with a few plays of the game. And for me, the theme is important - I�ve always loved a good heist movie, and How to Rob a Bank puts the player in the middle of a great crime adventure. I think advanced gamers will enjoy the game, as will less experienced players. As is, the game may have limited repeat play, but I�m hoping Big G Creative will offer expansion packs or a more advanced version: a bigger bank, more cops and robbers, and more options per turn. But either way, it�s a fun game.
