Iran mourns: Iranians pay tributes to former president Rafsanjani

Iran has declared three days of mourning for the death of Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, the former president.

He was an influential player in Iranian politics and was highly regarded by Western officials.

He died following a heart attack at the age of 82.

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has described the loss of Rafsanjani as "difficult and life-decreasing."
