Half-Life 2: Episode One review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Half-Life 2: Episode One from Valve Corporation for Playstation 3 on The Orange Box.

Half-Life 2 was one of the greatest games ever released. But the ending was a little underwhelming, leaving everyone craving for more of the story of Gordon Freeman. Well, Valve delivered with an episodic trilogy. The game starts right after the end of Half-Life 2 and shows Gordon and Alyk going into the Citadel but will take you to other locations. The biggest change is the addition of Alyk, who can more than hold her own in a firefight, making for an interesting co-op system. The only trouble with the game is it is over far too quickly, but it was never intended to be a full length game. This is the same quality as Half-Life 2, just shorter and with some changes.

This video review features video gameplay footage of Half-Life 2: Episode One for Playstation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Ryan.
