HIDDEN LOVE moves between past and present to tell the story of a mother who was consumed with guilt and feelings of inadequacy when she gave birth. Disconnected from Sophie (Melanie Laurent) as a new mother, Danielle (Isabelle Huppert) seemed to do nothing right. Sophie now has her own tale to tell as the past is slowly stripped of its secrets.
