Private Practice Reviews

I may have done it out of order when I watched Private Practice before I watched Grey's. I always liked Addison and she's a much more complex character than her ex-husband and his new wife. She knows what she wants and she goes after it. She wants a baby more than she wants a husband, more than she wants a medical career and she goes for it. That is what all people should aspire to.
Overall, I like all of the characters in their own ways. Naomi has strong opinions and a moral compass that I may not always agree with but I love that her friendship with Addison can survive things like that (at least most of the time).
Sam and Addison have always had a complicated relationship that only gets more complicated when a baby is involved. I can't wait to see where that goes.
Pete and Violet make an awful couple but I think that is what happens in real life. They want to make it work so badly but it just isn't. They gave it a try. The characters are real and that's what makes the audience like them.
At first I wasn't rooting for Charlotte and Cooper but their storyline is so interesting and fascinating that I had to get on board. I love the realistic way they love each other and his child. I think their storyline is the best lately and one of the main reasons I watch even though I can't stand Kadee Strickland's Southern accent. Cooper is a very normal guy that you don't normally see on TV, all the guys are. The characters aren't cookie-cutter which makes it much more interesting to sit down and watch.
I do take issue with the way some story lines are dropped but I think that has more to do with the actors coming and going than the writing. I can understand that. We'll have to see how the deal with those issues in Season 6 and I can't wait.
