Description:
Located in a district of Munich, this weekly German soap opera focuses on the lives of ordinary people.
Beside the usual storylines like love, marriage and death, the show has featured a lot of controversial issues over the years including homosexuality, drug abuse, domestic violence, rape, xenophobia, prostitution and AIDS.
The show is based on the long-running British soap 'Coronation Street' Dallas star Larry Hagman made a cameo appearance in 'Lindenstraße' on February 19 2006.
