The first season, called American Horror Story: Murder House, tells the story of the Harmon family: Psychiatrist Ben, his wife Vivien, and their teenage daughter Violet, move to Boston in Los Angeles after Vivien suffers a miscarriage and Ben has an affair with one of his students

American Horror Story is the complete definition of beautiful television. Each Season is self contained with a cast so spectacular, that its hard not to watch. Every single season of this show brings joy to me, the producers manage to capture factual elements of 'horror' in this show for everyone's enjoyment. There are pretty exciting season connections along the way. The character development is so well done- we learn all their back stories, qualities and traits throughout the season, enabling us to connect with them. This is my #1 favorite show of all time. I recommend it to EVERYONE! American Horror Story is sheer beauty in my eyes, a true classic work of art!!!

This is actually much more sick than the first one and it's one hell of a ride! I love how Sister Jude portrays a twisted nun but then her only motivation is to help the patients. Well actually I love all the characters. They'll make you hate them, love them, feel pity for them, want to kill them if you could just. The craziness would probably rub off on you too if you watch the whole season in one sitting.

I just watched the pilot for this, and I am very much looking forward to the next episode(s). Knowing that this show airs on FX, which has introduced me to a lot of my favourite shows (including Sons of Anarchy, The League, and True Blood), and that Ryan Murphy (Nip/Tuck, also a favourite) has a hand in it, had me hoping this show would be another great one to watch. And so far, I have not been disappointed. I am definitely intrigued, I think the casting and writing are very well done, this is a superb start for a new show, and I hope it just keeps getting better and better.

I love that Frances Conroy is even a part of the show (so far), and the little bits and pieces of bigger mysteries, or THE bigger mystery that were dropped all throughout the pilot, were introduced very well, not too much, not hokey, quite perfect. And Jessica Lange is awesome, I am glad she's in this as well. The right mix of scary, suspense, drama, and violence, I think. Then again, I love horror/suspense, and this is pretty darn good stuff!
