Being able to manually add TV items as per Music because IMDb does not always include non US programmes, at least not immediately.

I'd like this, too, but you realize, though, that any IMDb member can add a program to their database if its not there. Its a lengthy process that requires finding the official site of the series and entering a lot of data in the right format but I did it recently for a Japanese series and got it approved, though it took nearly a month for it to actually show up in searches. This was a series that aired in 2004 and had an English-subtitled DVD release in 2007, so the companies that held the rights to the series had no intention of ever adding it to IMDb.

IMDb is the most widely used database, so I like the idea of adding items to it, but I also turn to databases specific to the program's region because they're more complete.

Thanks for this information Hyomil. All this time I have used IMDb I never thought to register. I just did and what a lot of data they require to list an item! I hope Listal can provide something less onerous.
