Since the summer of 2006, the band has been one of the most popular on MySpace by the swelling number of visits to your page. His career began with the composer and record producer Ryan Tedder and his high school friend Zach Filkins in Colorado Springs. The group moved to Los Angeles. After passing through Columbia Records, went to Interscope Records / Mosley Music Group.
[Edit] Dreaming Out Loud (2007)
The group finished recording his album Dreaming Out Loud which was produced by Greg Wells (Mika, Rufus Wainwright, Deftones) with some songs produced by lead singer Ryan Tedder. It was released on November 20, 2007.
The single "Apologize" was followed by "Stop & Stare" and "Say (All I Need)", but were far from the impact of their first single.
[Edit] Waking Up (2009)
On September 4, 2008, the band announced during a concert at the London Forum in England, they were working on new songs for a new album scheduled for summer 2009. The band played one of the new songs called "All the Right Moves". The band relocated to Denver, Colorado to complete work on the album. It was believed that the title of the album would be "Today" (Today). The album, named Waking Up, was released on November 17, 2009. A deluxe version was released with additional tracks. Four singles were released from the album: All the Right Moves, Secrets, Marching On, and Good Life. "All the Right Moves" stung at number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album received several reviews from critics. It reached number 21 on the Billboard 200 and sold over 200,000 copies in the United States. In 2011 went to the Teen Choice Awards nominated twice for "Good Life".
[Edit] Native (2013)
Native is scheduled to be released in store and online on March 26. On February 4, 2012, OneRepublic announced via Twitter that her album is scheduled to be released in 2013, with a new single "hopefully [coming] April / May." A new song, entitled "Life in Color" has been used in a commercial 2012 new Ralph Lauren fragrance collection "Big Pony" for women. This is the second time that one of the band's songs was used in an advertisement for Ralph Lauren, after the song "Secrets" was used in the promotion of fragrance collection "Big Pony" men in 2011. Despite rumors of "Life in Color" being released as the band's first single from her new album, OneRepublic announced via Twitter on March 17, 2012, that this song may be "a" single at some point, but not the first. OneRepublic also mentioned the April 5, 2012, shares of the three songs that they feel better about the next album so far: "What U wanted", "Burning Bridges" and "Let Get Lost". Along with this, a song titled "Feel Again" was mentioned in a YouTube video as a "first single potential." On July 6, 2012, OneRepublic announced on Twitter that the first single from his upcoming third album would be entitled "Feel Again". The song was first performed on Good Morning America on August 10. The single received radio airplay on 22 August and was released on August 27. A portion of the proceeds from sales of the single will be donated to Save the Children each beat Matters campaign to support health workers training frontline worldwide. The music video for "Feel Again" was released on Vevo on August 28.
In September 2012, OneRepublic announced that the titles of three songs from their new album are "Couting Stars", "Preacher" and "Something's Gotta Give". He also announced that the new album has a lot of "tempo". The September 19, 2012, it was announced that his studio album would be called Native. The January 24 premiered the video for the new single "If I Lose Myself" on Vevo. Finally the album was released by Interscope Records on March 26, 2013. ... (more)
