Stompin' Tom Connors--the pride of the Maritimes--has released dozens of albums in his four-decade career, all rich with tales of brave miners, hockey heroes, and the wild eccentrics who can be found in even the smallest communities. EMI Music Canada had a go at re-releasing much of this mighty patriot's back catalogue in the late '90s, but judging by the no-frills packaging, the folks there weren't very enthusiastic about the task.
