Hans Zimmer went from helping create the quirky--if prophetic--pop single "Video Killed the Radio Star" by the Buggles to the Academy Award-winning score of Disney's The Lion King with nary a curve in the arc of his career. His 1997 score for James Brooks' As Good As It Gets displays the deceptive ease with which Zimmer shifts between comedy and drama, often in the same musical cue.
