Just like Schoolyard Heroes' dominating live show, "Fantastic Wounds" oozes with singer Ryann Donnelly's impetuous attitude, stunning style, and brash confidence, while the band churns out the most unapologetic chops to come out of Sea-town since The Blood Brothers. At once muscular and complex, Schoolyard Heroes' compositions are as beguiling as Donnelly's smirk, right before she blows you away with the blood curdling vociferation she pulls out like a rock-knife.
