"July 24 Going into this I thought this would be a movie that Stephen Chow directed, but it turns out that he's just the leading role. Regardless of that, this was a little-seen gem that not many people have seen. It was a highly entertaining film that really funny and had so much crazy stuff going on. I'm not going to any further detail into this because I don't want to spoil the experience for the people who haven't seen it. So go on and check this movie out. "

"First viewing - April 7th After giving up on Uncle Boonmee (see below), I took a chance on this lesser-known film starring the wonderful Stephen Chow. And holy crap is this movie fun...and insane...and just all around amazing (it's also another Shaw Brothers release, which was a surprise to me). I was roaring with laughter at parts of it, and may have missed a thing or two that I'll have to pick up on subsequent viewings.
