"May 31 "I think we drink virgin blood because it sounds cool." "I think of it like this. If you are going to eat a sandwich, you would just enjoy it more if you knew no one had fucked it." I didn't quite get this movie at first, but it wasn't too long before I started to catch on to it. It takes the all too familiar concepts of found footage and vampires and does so in a way that's refreshing and hilarious. Quite a bit of the humor in this movie is pretty dry, but at the same time is really "
" Familiar Actors: Jemaine Clement Rhys Darby Cohen Holloway and Adolf Hitler True Rating: 9.4/10 My Review: What We Review in the Shadows"
“I cannot review this as I don't remember what happened while watching this. Nah I'm just kidding, but you will get that joke if you watch this or have seen it.
Neutral Notes:
*This is Jemaine Clement's directorial debut, but he also wrote another film.
*As for Taika Waititi this isn't his first rodeo as he has several films including the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok.

" DVD- 1hr. 25min. First Viewing Nothing special necessarily, but What We Do in the Shadows is just flat-out fun from beginning to end. While it does have a few darker gags, the film is a goofy send-up of vampire flick, that is somehow better than most vampire flick. Just a wonderfully enjoyable film."

What I got was one of the funniest movies of this year or any year for that matter. The jokes where brilliant and more importantly, they were frequent and consistently brilliant. I loved the interaction of the main characters with each other and the supporting characters. Each of the main vampires had their moments and wer"

" 2.17 “What We Do in the Shadows” is a reality show/documentary featuring four vampires: versions of Vlad and Nosferatu, among others, as they try to live together in harmony inside a flat. The vampire jokes are nicely woven into the story and characters develop with utmost likability. This is one of the funniest comedy-horror ever. The bloodsucking friends are all dressed up for a night in town--doesn't really need a funny quote, "
