“Since I kept hearing some really good things about this movie, I was really eager to check it out and since it is considered as one of the best American comedies ever made, I had some rather high expectations. Well, to be honest, it turned out to be a decent watch but not much more than that, I'm afraid. Eventually, what bothered me the most was that even though it was fairly entertaining, it was never really hilarious. On top of that, some of the jokes were just seriously misguided. I mean, I didn't mind so much about the dog who died because they forgot that he was tied to the rear bumper but the scene where they just dumped their dead aunt first on their roof of their car and then on the porch of some relatives was just seriously lugubrious and not funny whatsoever.
