LoginSince I really enjoyed the 2 previous installments in this franchise, I was quite eager to check this one as well. Well, to be honest, even though I did like this flick, I thought it was still a slight step back from the previous movie. The main thing with this movie was that, even though some of the scenes were really strong, the sum of these scenes was however never really great. Furthermore, in my opinion, it didn’t provide anything really new this time around. For example, what was the point of this mute girl? What did she really add to this story? In my opinion, nothing much as she was just another attempt to show that the apes are so nice and in fact much more humane than the humans fighting them but it has been done before in this franchise and, by now, I really got the point. At least, I really liked this new character ‘Bad Ape’ who gave a new dimension to the whole ape concept concerning their origins and their possible evolution. And, of course, Caesar remains such a fascinating character and this franchise keeps displaying some of the best use of CGI I have ever seen. Anyway, to conclude, even though it was maybe not a masterpiece, it was still a solid blockbuster and it is definitely worth a look, especially if you like the genre.

"War for the Planet of the Apes" (2017)

After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own quest to avenge his kind.
First and foremost, the CGI is just perfect! This is right up in my top three most convincing CG spectacles I've ever seen, along with Jurassic Park and The Jungle Book 2016.
The music is also really good. I don't often comment on the music in movies, but this score was good enough that I actually paid attention to it. :)
The film overall maintains all the heart, intelligence and social commentary that the Apes franchise is known for. I think the overall theme is what it means to be, for lack of a better word, human. As is pointed out in the film, Caesar is being consumed by vengeance, which is an ostensibly human emotion.
The only thing I didn't like was Bad Ape, a comic relief character who simply clashed too much with the overall tone.
I don't know if I can quite say it's my favourite of the Apes reboot trilogy, as I'll never forget how Rise surprised us all, but it's definitely a smart, thrilling conclusion to the series.

hi im Walterwhite i gonna review war for the planet of apes Unlike the previous criticism if I saw his previous films ok i gonna start
i gonna start with the story
i no gonna tell the story with no spoilers is a short review for the story
is a good story and the Worthy end for the saga of cesar and a sad ending
with the new characters
Nova this girl his dad has killed it for the apes becuase the dad wanted to save her when I saw them becuase that the apes They carry it with them for me was good like when she if I help like when I gave him water to cesar when i was tied
the new monkey I not remember the name but the one they met at the mansion freezes i like that ape and the ape can talk
The colonel the villian I do not know how to say whether it is good or bad but when he caught the apes and made them build a wall and killed the Caesar family except the baby
And was against alz-113 at the end he gives this disease and suicide him self
i no have more to thing
to finish war of the planet of apes is a good a great end to cesar saga
I recommend seeing if you liked the above and you like science fiction
i like more than dawn but not better then rise
