“I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this flick but, since it was available on Netflix, I thought I might as well check it out. First of all, I have to confess that I’m not actually a huge fan of 'Ghostbusters' in general. In fact, I did grow up with these movies, the cartoons, the toys, and I have to admit that I did love those when I was a kid. However, in spite of what the fans might argue, I don’t think that the concept did grow old very well and, when I rewatched the movies as a grown-up, well, to be honest, they didn't really impress me. " Director: Jason Reitman His 9th movie My 8th movie watched from the director As far as reboots go this one was pretty good. The universally likable Paul Rudd helps, buoyed by the also likable Carrie Coon and decent child casting. If you don't take it seriously it's just a lot of fun. The nostalgia factor is expected but isn't pushed too much, though I think you have to be a huge Ghostbusters fan to actually get emotionally caught up in it. “I give it 8/5/10. This is the Ghostbusters III film and it is great. Great new cast with Paul Rudd as well as the ending of defeating Gozer again. Those who loved 1984 will enjoy this one.” read more
