An average movie

I remember it very well when this movie came out. Indeed, back then, I must have been 12 years old and, at the time, this movie was a big event and I was just so eager to watch this movie. Eventually, when it was released, the whole thing turned out to be a huge flop with some terrible reviews. Anyway, after 20 long years, I finally managed to watch the damned thing but, unfortunately, it did live up to its poor reputation. I mean, was it really supposed to be a family feature??! Was it really supposed to be funny??! Personally, I thought the whole thing was actually rather crippy and, even worse, I was just bored during the whole duration. In fact, there was a nice cast involved (Robin Williams, Michael Gambon, Joan Cusack , Robin Wright, LL Cool J , Debi Mazar, Jamie Foxx) and it was visually interesting so the whole thing actually had some potential but the end result was just so disappointing. I mean, it was supposed to be about toys but I didn't feel any joy at all while watching this movie. Anyway, to conclude, even though it was a big production, this flick was just a tedious mess to watch and it is not really worth a look.
