"A terrific British comedy with a cracking cast. A gang of wanna-be crooks decide to blackmail a wealthy businessman when they accidentally kidnap his wife who wants to rob him out of every penny he has. Like a who's who of British comedy with George Coe, Terry-Thomas and Sid James in the leads. A courtroom scene that is as ludicrous as it is funny and a lovely gentle twist. Could easily have been an Ealing comedy or an early Carry On."
