A good movie

I’m not sure if you have noticed but I tend to be really obsessive about my movie watching and when I dig a director’s work, I try to watch all his movies and Lukas Moodysson is definitely one of those directors. Indeed, I was really impressed by 'Fucking Amal' and even more by 'Lilya Forever' so I was really curious to see this other flick directed by Lukas Moodysson. To be honest, this movie never reached the level of the others I mentioned just before but it was still an interesting study of a community living in Sweden during the 70's. Personally, I have always been intrigued by this way of life and I think the movie was quite successful in portraying it in a realistic way, showing its downside and its advantage. Furthermore, the directing was very good and the actors all delivered some good performances. In my opinion, even though the material was interesting, there was still something missing to make it truly spellbinding to watch but thanks to Moodysson’s sober directing, it was still a nice watch. To conclude, even though this movie is probably not as famous or as good as Moodysson's previous work but it was still a fine picture and it is definitely worth a look, especially if you like the genre.
