The Hallow Reviews

Thoughts before I watched this.
1. It seems similar to the Until Dawn game I've been playing.
2. Hooray for the Game of Thrones actors.
3. I'm wondering though if this is more fantasy than horror.
4. Never heard of the director/writer, but it looks like he is directing The Crow remake.
5. I've heard of the other film Felipe Marino wrote, but this will be the first I've seen.
6. Now I shall continue with my Halloween marathon.

Thoughts while I watched this.
1. The imagery is beautifully shot for sure.
2. Oh that is just not normal!
3. This guy is way too curious.
4. Roose Bolton is still a son of a bitch. lol
5. Ah these poor naive souls.
6. I see what you're trying to do.
7. Eww what the hell is that?!
8. Uh yeah when you do stuff like that you do come off as crazy.
9. How do they not realize how abnormal that black goo looking stuff is?
10. Is he still ignorant to the fact that there are monsters out there?
11. Hello the police can't do shit when it comes to monsters.
12. Why does the dog pretty much always have to die :(?
13. Holy crap those things are creepy!?
14. I kind of figured that's what would be happening.
15. Oh man that was unexpected!
16. I don't think so.
17. This tension is really nice.
19. That has to be one of the coolest fire weapons I've seen in a movie.
20. Whoa I really didn't know what to believe.
21. That was an interesting little ending.
22. Make sure to watch until the credits are over.

Thoughts after I watched this.
1. It was definitely a horror story based on fantasy.
2. The acting was really good.
3. It was muddled with a few horror cliches and people seemed to dumbed down though.
4. I was creeped out which is an accomplishment.
5. It genuinely tries to be scary, but it does allow a few jump scare attempts as well.
6. It isn't the best I've seen, but it was a fine watch for my Halloween marathon.
7. I would recommend it for a one time watch.
