" Meet John Blake, he seems like a great guy, with a great life, but his stepdaughter Stephanie suspects that he is a horrible monster. She is right. Jerry is a serial killer who has murdered families before, ones who have failed to make his exacting perfection. Can she stop him, before it’s too late? "Nobody's perfect. Not even families. And also, you can't make someone love you."

" Whatever you do, step far away from the remake and pretend it doesn't exist. Just watch this one because it's a great horror movie that has a great performance from Terry O'Quinn and works as a horror movie and on a story-telling standpoint. This one deserves to be remembered while the remake deserves to be forgotten."
