The motivations of their enemy is questionable, making me wonder if they are really bad or just believe the ends justify the means. Neat to get to see the zombies described in the first one. Some of the action does work, but the script offers absolutely nothing new in either the story or character development departments, it also doesn't help that it's overlong by around 45 minutes. About as bland as mainstream cinema can get. "
"The more I look around the more I find most people's assessment on the Maze Runner films are similar to my own. Everything is good, we just expect better out them. This is the second installment. Just as plain, yet almost intriguing by accident, that it just peaks the viewer's curiosity just enough to want a third one. Everything in the Maze Runner films is so bland, and PG-13 oriented, it's almost painful to sit through. The story, is creepy and weird, and just fascinating enough that one can"
